Terms of Service

The terms governing your church's use of the ChurchQ platform.

Last updated: 26 May 2026

1. Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between your church or organisation ("Church", "you") and MaveriQ Technologies ("ChurchQ", "we", "us") governing your access to and use of the ChurchQ platform and related services (the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Accounts & roles

The Church is responsible for the accounts it creates for pastors, administrators, leaders and members, for assigning appropriate roles, and for all activity under those accounts. You agree to keep credentials secure and to remove access for those who no longer serve in a given role.

3. The Services

  • Maintain a member and family directory with pastoral notes.
  • Receive giving and tithes (including via M-PESA), track funds and generate statements.
  • Record attendance, plan events and services, and manage groups.
  • Communicate with the congregation by SMS and email.

4. Fees & payment

Subscription fees are as set out in your plan, billed per the agreed schedule. Any transaction-related charges for giving collection are disclosed separately. We may adjust pricing with prior notice.

5. The Church's responsibilities

  • Handle member information and pastoral notes respectfully and lawfully.
  • Keep giving records accurate and use them only for legitimate church purposes.
  • Obtain consents where required for communicating with members.

6. Your data

Your church's data remains yours. We process it on your behalf to provide the Services and make it available for export on reasonable request. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Suspension & termination

We may suspend access for non-payment, misuse, or legal requirement. You may end your subscription per your agreement; on termination we will provide a reasonable window to export your data before deletion.

8. Liability

The Services are provided on a commercially reasonable basis. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited as set out in your agreement, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of its courts.
